South Indian cinema is in mourning. Mohini Mani, mother of superstar Ajith Kumar, has passed away in Chennai at age 89. Ajith, currently in Dubai, is returning for the final rites at their Palavakkam residence.

Industry icons like Kamal Haasan have shared heartfelt tributes. This marks a profound loss for the star, following his father’s passing in 2023. RIP.
