Real Madrid Keen on Bringing Back Achraf Hakimi To The Club in 2025 or in 2026 For Free

In recent weeks, there has been insight into Real Madrid’s perspective on a potential reunion with Achraf Hakimi, a PSG player. This news is sure to spark excitement among Real Madrid supporters.

The name of Hakimi has of course found itself back front and centre in the headlines in Spain’s capital over the course of the last week. This comes after word was forthcoming in the media that the Moroccan has set his sights firmly on a move back to the Santiago Bernabéu.

After spending the early years of his career developing on the books of Real, Hakimi, according to Mundo Deportivo, is now ‘crazy’ to link back up with his former employers.

The explosive defender will witness his close friend and Paris Saint-Germain teammate Kylian Mbappé ply his trade in Madrid this summer and harbors hopes of following suit in the not-so-distant future. However, what is the stance of the brass at the Bernabéu on this matter?

Real Madrid’s Pursuit of a Right-Back: Assessing the Potential Return of Achraf Hakimi

Real Madrid is expected to initiate a search for a new right-back as early as the summer of 2025, aiming to secure a long-term replacement for Dani Carvajal. According to the reliable Mario Cortegana of The Athletic, the capital club is indeed set to ‘study’ Hakimi’s potential return at this juncture.

The name of the 25-year-old holds prominence at Valdebebas, with Florentino Pérez and the team ready to capitalize on the situation should Hakimi refuse to extend his contract. His current terms are set to expire in the summer of 2026, prompting consideration of both a discounted deal next year or potentially securing him as a free agent the following summer.

Real Madrid finds themselves in need of reinforcement in various positions across the pitch due to a lack of options. One area requiring immediate attention is the right-back position. While Dani Carvajal holds legendary status at the club, there is a lack of genuine backup for him.

Both Nacho and Lucas Vazquez, who are older than Carvajal, have been converted to right-backs. Meanwhile, Alvaro Odriozola has departed this summer. Although Vinicius Tobias has been brought back on loan for another season, doubts linger regarding his readiness to transition from Castilla to the senior team.

Given these circumstances, Real Madrid could benefit from acquiring a world-class right-back. Therefore, it’s no surprise that they have been consistently linked with Achraf Hakimi.

Hakimi emerged from Real Madrid’s youth ranks but departed before getting a proper chance in the first team, a decision that has since been regarded as a significant mistake, given his subsequent rise to prominence as one of the game’s top right-backs.

There appears to be encouraging news for Los Blancos regarding a potential move for Hakimi in the future. According to a report by 90min, his agent, Alejandro Camano, stated in an interview with AS:

Achraf has been away from Real Madrid for five years, but it is always his home; somewhere in his heart, the club is there. If Real Madrid want to sign him, we will listen. If you ask him, you will see that he is a Real Madrid fan, but our project now is that of PSG. Great players always see Real Madrid as a target. How many players would want to go there? Achraf lived it and has been formed with the club’s values.”

Securing Hakimi’s signature would be considered a major coup for any club in world football at present. He has showcased his abilities at Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan, and PSG.

However, rumors suggest that Real Madrid currently have a strained relationship with PSG, which could complicate negotiations. Conversely, Hakimi has also been linked with a move to Manchester City in recent times.

Jude Bellingham and Rudiger red cards vs Valencia: Real Madrid to appeal

In a dramatic game at Valencia, Jude Bellingham found himself at the center of controversy as he was sent off for expressing frustration after the final whistle denied what seemed like a winning goal for Real Madrid.

Vinicius Jr showcased his prowess with two goals at the Mestalla, a stadium where he previously faced racist abuse, aiding Real Madrid’s comeback from a 2-0 deficit to salvage a point and extend their lead to seven points at the top of La Liga.

Bellingham believed he had secured victory for Real Madrid in the dying moments of the game when he headed in from close range. However, his celebrations were cut short as referee Gil Manzano had blown the whistle to signal the end of the match before the cross had been delivered.

Jude Bellingham and Antonio Rudiger see red in controversial Valencia draw

The decision sparked protests from Real Madrid players and staff, with Bellingham, who had returned to the side after a three-week injury layoff, being shown a red card for his involvement in the protests.

Real Madrid’s manager, Carlo Ancelotti, expressed his frustration at the unprecedented incident, highlighting Bellingham’s transparent confession of his actions. Ancelotti emphasized that Bellingham’s frustration was understandable given the circumstances but clarified that no insults were directed towards the referee.

Following the match, reports suggest that Madrid will appeal the decision in an effort to overturn Bellingham’s and Rudiger’s red cards, underscoring the club’s determination to rectify the situation.

  • Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao to return in April for 2nd LaLiga El Clasico

Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao to return in April for 2nd LaLiga El Clasico

Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao, who have missed the previous six months due to anterior cruciate ligament injuries, may take up to six weeks to return to play, according to Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Both have resumed training in recent weeks as their comeback draws closer. This might provide Ancelotti’s team an advantage in the last few months of the season as they aim to win La Liga.

Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao will be back for El Clasico

    Eder Militao

“There is no specified date. However, we must make the most of the national team break and the subsequent Copa del Rey minibreak. They will work on team assignments at that point. “They might be there after April 14th, after Mallorca,” Carlo Ancelotti stated during a press conference.

That would indicate that they would make their comeback seven games before the league season ends and before Barcelona’s El Clasico visit to the Santiago Bernabeu. Real Madrid might play in the second leg of the Champions League quarterfinals in April and even beyond if they advance.

Is Real Madrid overachieving this season? was another question posed to Ancelotti.

The team has persevered through hardships, so even with the injuries, we must remember that the best is yet to come—the crucial months of April and May. Militao and Courtois, who are quite close, will make a comeback. This dynamic suggests that the season might be quite promising.

On April 21, one week following the match against Mallorca, Real Madrid will play Barcelona in the El Clasico. And if the defensive pair return before the big game, it might give them a major lift.

Alphonso Davies transfer: Real Madrid and Bayern Munich agree move in 2024 or 25

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have reportedly reached a verbal agreement over the transfer of Alphonso Davies, according to The Athletic. The Canadian will only have one year left on his contract this summer, and there were rumours that an offer worth €40-50 million could be made for the left-back.

If Bayern are unable to sell him, he will have the liberty to walk out as a free agent when his deal runs out in 2025. Bayern already experienced a similar incident with David Alaba, when he decided to not renew his deal and chose Madrid. Now, they are in a similar situation with Davies.

Davies joined Bayern from MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps in January 2019 and has gone to make 180 appearances for the club, winning the Bundesliga title five times and was part of the Champions League-winning team in 2020.

He has played 27 times in all competitions for Bayern this season, scoring one goal and adding three assists.

The left-back has been clear about his desire to join only Real Madrid after his impressive spell with the Bavarians. And as things stand, he is on course to get that transfer this year or next summer. Bayern, of course, will want to avoid losing him for free and will still try to offer him a new contract.

If he refuses to sign a new deal, perhaps with a Madrid-specific release clause, he could be sold this summer. More clarity on the situation will come in the next few weeks, as personal terms have already been agreed with the Canadian.

Carlo Ancelotti offers Luka Modric Real Madrid coaching job if he retires at the end of 23/24 season

Carlo Ancelotti has offered Luka Modric the opportunity to join his coaching staff at the end of the season, should he choose to retire from playing. The 38-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, and has not yet started negotiations over a renewal. Therefore, rumours suggesting the end of the Croatian’s career have come up.

The midfielder was presented with the opportunity earlier, but he turned it down definitively. Now, there is a possibility that things could turn towards that direction. But sources close to the situation suggest that Modric is still very focused on playing football and winning silverware, including a strong performance at the European Championships with Croatia.

Carlo Ancelotti offers Luka Modric coaching staff job if he retires

    luka modric

Modric has been an ever-present member of the Real Madrid midfield since joining the club in 2012. He has gone on to make 516 appearances for the club, and has won 23 trophies, one of the highest figures in the history of the club. He formed a formidable partnership in midfield alongside Toni Kroos and Casemiro.

But that has been reduced to him and Kroos now that Casemiro plays for Manchester United. But the veterans have continued to show their class in high pressure situations, such as the Champions League knockout stages only a couple of seasons ago when they won the title for the 14th time.

Luka Modric had offers from Saudi Arabia this past summer, but was committed to Real Madrid. He has always maintained that he wants to retire at the club, and has stayed true to his word in spite of several options to move away.

If he does indeed join Ancelotti’s coaching staff, it would be independent of the future of Davide Ancelotti and Francesco Mauri, who are both vital to the current set up at the club.

Kylian Mbappe signs contract with Real Madrid until 2029

Kylian Mbappe has reportedly agreed to the contract offered to him by Real Madrid. The PSG star has told the president, Nasser Al Khelaifi, that he will be leaving at the end of the season. And reports now suggest that he has an agreement in place with Los Blancos over the contract details.

The player will receive a signing bonus worth €50 million, close to what he was supposed to receive with PSG as a loyalty bonus. But, he turned down the payment as he was set to leave the club and wanted to part ways on good terms, having spent six years with them.

Last time Real Madrid tried to sign the player, they had made a huge contract offer to him. But this time around, the wage offered to him is significantly lower than what was offered. It is lower than his current wage at PSG too, but the signing bonus should offset that amount given Madrid need to maintain their wage structure amidst difficult restrictions imposed by LaLiga.

However, an official announcement will only be made later in the season when the move is close to being completed for sure. Madrid fans will be wary of believing any transfer news involving Mbappe until they see him holding up the white shirt with Florentino Perez.

Marca reports that Kylian Mbappe’s contract with Madrid will be five years long, until 2029. The contract will pay the player a salary close that of their existing highest earners such as Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and David Alaba at €15 and 20 million net per year plus bonus for objectives.

Right now, he is earning €32 million net per season after taxes. Moreover, his earnings through image rights could also be lower with the presence of already established stars like Vinicius Jr and Jude Bellingham already at the club.

Kylian Mbappe has finally revealed to PSG that he wants to leave the club this summer when his contract runs out. The attacker has also made it clear that he will not change his mind and doesn’t want to receive a counter proposal from PSG for a new deal.

Real Madrid have been the favourites to land the France captain for years, and could finally get their man this summer. But they haven’t reached an agreement with the player yet. And until they have a final decision on the contract, the transfer cannot be taken for granted.

Last time around, Madrid offered €200 million for Mbappe and had agreed personal terms with the player too. But, he ended up staying with PSG and signed a new contract too. At the time, however, Mbappe called Florentino Perez himself to tell him that he wouldn’t be coming. This move potentially saved the relationship and could now lead to his arrival in the Spanish capital at last.

    What’s the contract looking like?

Last time around, Mbappe was offered a massive salary to become a new Real Madrid player. But this time, his wages are significantly lower than the last deal offered. As a comparison, they are lower than his current PSG salary too.

In contrast, he was earning €32 million net per season.

The player will receive a signing bonus worth €50 million, close to what he was supposed to receive with PSG as a loyalty bonus. But, he turned down the payment as he was set to leave the club and wanted to part ways on good terms, having spent six years with them.

Mikel Arteta speaks on Kylian Mbappe rumours

Recently, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta spoke about the possibility of Kylian Mbappe potentially ending up in the Premier League. The likes of Manchester City, Liverpool FC, Chelsea and Manchester United have also been linked with the player.

    “Why not?,” Mikel Arteta said.

“If we want to be the best team, we are going to need the best talent & the best players”.

“I am not involved. Maybe Edu and the owners are, I’m not in those conversations until the last stage”.

Has Mbappe revealed his decision to everybody?

Kylian Mbappe has now announced the decision not only to the PSG board but also to his teammates at PSG as part of a training session. He intends to stay at the club and see the season through, but the feeling at PSG is that Madrid is where he is headed next.

In addition, the Real Madrid dressing room feels the same. Aurelien Tchouameni, his France teammate, was active on social media when his decision to leave PSG was announced, hinting at the long drawn saga finally ending when the summer transfer window opens.

    Kylian Mbappe’s PSG career

Mbappe is Paris Saint-Germain’s record goalscorer in all competitions, despite being 24 and joining them six years ago. He has scored 243 goals in 290 appearances. Overall, he has scored 316 and assisted 129 goals in 425 career appearances for club and country, winning 15 trophies.

Signing from Monaco, he was the most expensive teenager in football history and remains the second-most expensive player ever after his £166m move to Paris Saint-Germain in 2018. But that investment has surely paid off after six years, considering the value he has brought to the club. The club has won every domestic trophy multiple times with him, except for the Champions League. And this year is the final opportunity for them to end the drought for European silverware.
