Maharashtra-based Arma Capital has announced an initial investment of ₹10 crore across the wellness, food, and family business segments of Hyderabad-headquartered [EBG Group](https://www.ebg.group/). This transaction marks Arma Capital’s entry into several consumer-facing brands under the diversified Indian enterprise.

The initial investment package includes funding for three Carlton Wellness Centres located in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chandigarh. Additionally, Arma Capital has secured franchise partnerships for NATUF Café, Adhira & Appa Café, and Chhota Bheem Family Café, with operations slated for development in Hyderabad.

Arma Capital: Strategic Expansion and Long-Term Commitment

This ₹10 crore investment represents the first phase of a broader strategic partnership. Arma Capital has committed to investing over ₹100 crore across EBG Group’s portfolio over the next five years. This capital will be directed towards expanding existing brands such as Carlton Wellness Center, Tarzan Nature Retreat, Adhira and Appa Coffee, Natuf Cafe, and Chhota Bheem Café, alongside future brands under the EBG Group umbrella.

The planned expansion targets major Indian metropolitan areas, including Chandigarh, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Delhi NCR, indicating a national growth strategy for these consumer brands.

Executive Perspectives

Arun Jain, Founder and Managing Director of Arma Capital, stated, “Our strategy focuses on businesses addressing everyday consumer needs with potential for multi-city growth. EBG Group’s integrated ecosystem of wellness, food, and family experience brands presented a natural alignment. We anticipate these brands will achieve broader market penetration and create long-term value.”

Dr. Irfan Khan, Founder and Chairman of EBG Group, commented on the development, saying, “Arma Capital’s decision to invest across multiple EBG brands validates our business models and long-term vision. This partnership across wellness, food, and family experiences reinforces our conviction that consumer-focused brands with robust fundamentals can scale effectively across India.”

Market Context and Future Outlook

Prior to this association, Arma Capital’s investment portfolio primarily encompassed consumer brands, hospitality, and lifestyle experiences. The investment in EBG Group aligns with this focus, expanding its presence in consumer-facing businesses while adding specific wellness, food, and family experience categories.

The collaboration aims to leverage Arma Capital’s financial backing and expansion expertise with EBG Group’s established brand portfolio. This partnership is expected to facilitate new franchise locations, support the launch of additional consumer-focused brands, and drive sustained growth across India.
