## What Is *QUINTESSENCE* All About?

In the teaser, Taeyang opens up with striking words: “The word that stayed in my mind. And the word that is most needed for this generation. I put myself into this process completely — my love, my joy, my passion — but sometimes I had to face my own madness along the way.”

He also revealed that he hasn’t yet found the perfect meaning of the word “quintessence,” but that the very search for its meaning shaped the entire production of the album. [The Korea Herald](https://www.koreaherald.com/article/10707734) That kind of artistic honesty? It hits different.

The teaser visual pairs the title word with the poetic phrase: “The most important things are invisible” — hinting at what could be Taeyang’s most introspective work yet.
