We all love to eat food, this film makes you passionate about cooking. The platform is dishing out entertaining content one after the other. Tadka is such an odd film there are two storylines running in parallel until they are invariable. The film forces the tale forward that’s not necessary. Taapsee will be seen as the same old character. We will see it once again Nana Patekar on the big screen.
Tadka: Plot
Tadka is a film set in Goa and revolves around the love story of two couples. One of them is a chef played by Nana Patekar. Food plays an important role in the story. The trailer starts with nana Patekar sitting with a girl who orders fresh lime soda without sugar and ice and he said in a sarcastic mood: “Nimbu chalega?” He has seen to be criticized by the others for rejecting the girl as she doesn’t like groundnut chutney instead asking the chef in her house to arrive along with him as he can prepare well for him.
The people around him make fun of giving so much importance to food. Things not starting off as a wrongly dialed number soon leads to the feeling between Tukaram who is an archaeologist and Madhura who is a radio jockey. A promotional song featuring Ali Fazal and Taapsee had released in 2019 but the movie could not be released at the time.
Tadka: Cast
ZEE5’s digital offering Tadka has prominent actors starring in it. The film of the romantic genre stars actors Taapsee Pannu, Ali Fazal, Nana Patekar, and Shriya Saran essaying the lead characters. It also stars Murali Sharma, Lillete Dubey, Naveen Kaushik, and Rajesh Sharma playing pivotal roles.
Tadka is directed by Prakash Raj. Tadka is said to be the official remake of the 2011 blockbuster hit Malayalam movie Salt N’ Pepper. Written by Surya Menon, and produced by Prakash Raj under Prakash Raj productions, and by Sameer Dixit and Jatish Varma under their Movie Makers Inc banner.
The movie has already been made in Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu. And now with Tadka the film has got a Hindi version too. It was remade in Tamil as Un Samayal Arayil, in Telugu as Ulavacharu Biryani, and in Kannada as Oggarane, respectively.
Furthermore, Prakash Raj has directed the remakes and has also acted in them. The music is composed by Ilaiyaraaja, Ankit Tiwari, Kapil Jangir, Anil Rubens, and Vivek Kar. From the poster, the Zee5 offering promises to be a tale of love with lots of Tadka. The caption on the poster reads, ‘tadka… Love is cooking. The Zee5 original will have a direct digital release.
Tadka: Release Date
The film will hit ZEE5 on 4th November 2022. On sharing a poster of the movie featuring the characters, Zee5 captioned their Instagram post as follows, “Kadhai garam karlo mere yaar, kyunki #PyaarKaTadka hai lagne ko tayyar!”
