India missed out on their dream of lifting the T20 World Cup Trophy for the second time, once again. They’ll receive an amount of $400,000 for making it to the semi-finals.

India had four wins out of five in their Super 12 stage and thus they’ll receive a total check of $560,000 which amounts to INR 4.51 crores.

India was crashed by England in the semifinals by 10 wickets. India posted a target of 169 and the English accomplished it in 16 overs itself. Jos Buttler and Alex Hales scored fifty-plus to get onto the target. Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya’s half-centuries even couldn’t help the team win.

The 2022 edition of the tournament was unpredictable and some results were shocking. Pakistan lost the first two matches against India and Zimbabwe, the same team defeated New Zealand in the finale. On the other hand, England lost to Ireland in the Group Stage and then beat India in the semifinals.

The final will be taking place between Pakistan and England at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on November 13 at 1:30 PM. An exhilarating and thrilling game is waiting for the fans.
