During this global pandemic, the whole world has become proactive on the internet. Apart from the online classes and meetings, people have no choice to interact with each other, in the case of long-distance, rather than through the internet. The companies capable of providing similar services also tried to improve themselves. Just like them, Tinder is also bringing an in-app interactive video series named “Swipe Night” for its global users.
To let you know, this event is not a new one for Tinder users, the dating platform already started it from last October, but this time it will be a global launch. The event puts users in a 1st person adventure, then they have to go for options to make decisions for various situations.
It is a unique approach of Tinder to connect its users with their potential partners. As per the platform, the decisions taken by the users in “Swipe Night” videos will affect the matches as well as the topic for their chat.
The company planned this launch earlier, but they have to reschedule it for the pandemic.
The CEO of Tinder, Jim Lanzone said, “When lockdowns began, we saw an immediate increase in our members’ engagement on Tinder, so we know we play an important role in their stay-at-home experience. While the global health crisis continues, we believe ‘Swipe Night’ can bring a welcome change of pace to our members around the world.”
Lastly, the global launch of the series of interactive videos “Swipe Night” is on 12th September.
