Swiggy Launches Exclusive Invite-Only One BLCK Membership with Premium Benefits
The benefits of Swiggy’s existing Swiggy One membership will also be offered to One BLCK members. That encompasses benefits like unlimited free deliveries on food orders and Instamart and exclusive discounts on food delivery and Dineout. With One BLCK, Swiggy looks to revolutionize premium memberships to offer users that business-class-like experience, for those who look for speed, reliability, and special attention.
“We are thrilled to introduce Swiggy One BLCK, designed to provide an elevated experience for users who expect the highest levels of service from Swiggy,” said co-founder Phani Kishan. “This membership is the business-class equivalent for our premium users, and we are setting a new benchmark for the industry.”
One BLCK will be invite-only and will have an introductory price of ₹299 for a three-month plan. Gradually, invite members can start becoming members across India on the app, the company plans. Members will also be offered a complimentary Yatra Prime membership on the occasion of the program’s launch, which adds further value to the service.
At present Swiggy One members can migrate to this new tier with enhanced features. Swiggy already offers free deliveries under Swiggy One for orders over ₹149 and within a 10 km distance. The Swiggy One subscription was introduced in 2021, and in 2023, Swiggy introduced a lighter version of the subscription called Swiggy One Lite, which costs ₹99 for three months and includes free deliveries, exclusive offers, and discounts.
Other players in the market, including Zomato and Zepto, have also introduced loyalty programs. Zomato has Gold which gives one similar advantages for food delivery as well as eating out and Zepto offers its Zepto Pass for ₹149 to ₹299 a month.
