If you’ve been glued to your screen every Friday night, you’re not alone. **Hell University**, the Filipino dark academia thriller streaming on Viva One, has become one of 2026’s most talked-about shows. Here’s your complete guide to the episode schedule, plot, cast, and where to watch.

### What is Hell University?

Hell University is a Philippine mystery thriller with elements of romance and dark academia, adapted from the Wattpad novel of the same name by KnightInBlack — itself inspired by the dystopian horror franchise *The Purge*. The series is directed by Bobby Bonifacio Jr. and co-produced by Studio Viva and Webtoon Productions. [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hell_University)

The story takes place in a school hidden from society that operates outside government control. Students don’t pay tuition or buy food — but they must survive a nightly event called the “Bloody Night,” which runs from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, during which all violent acts, including murder, are permitted.
