Diwali is two weeks away, and Suriya is already in the mood. The makers of *Scene* have released the film’s second single, **“Aeroplane,”** and it shows the actor head over heels in love. Here’s what you need to know, based on Pinkvilla’s report.

## Aeroplane: Overview

| Detail | Info |
| --- | --- |
| **Film** | *Scene* |
| **Genre** | Action comedy |
| **Lead** | Suriya |
| **Director** | Jithu Madhavan (of *Aavesham* fame) |
| **Release date** | November 6, 2026 (Diwali) |
| **New single** | “Aeroplane” |
| **Music** | Sushin Shyam |
| **Singer / Lyricist** | Gaana Bala / Rajpriyan |

## About the Song: “Aeroplane”

The track follows Suriya’s character, **Inbaraj**, as he falls for **Maya**, played by Nazriya Nazim Fahadh. Sushin Shyam has composed it as a peppy number that captures the excitement of someone falling deeper in love. Gaana Bala sings it, and Rajpriyan wrote the lyrics. After the high-energy first single, this one shows the film’s softer, romantic side.

## About the Film: What Is *Scene*?

The teaser introduces Suriya as an eccentric, unpredictable officer. Inbaraj is skilled at catching criminals but often ignores rules, codes and ethics to do it. That quirky, humorous tone has fans comparing *Scene* to Jithu Madhavan’s earlier film *Aavesham*.

Sushin Shyam handles the whole soundtrack and background score, and the title teaser has a punchy theme that fits the story. **Naslen** is expected to play the antagonist. The supporting cast includes Anandaraj, Lal, John Vijay, Raj Priyan and Mathialaghan.

The first single, **“Aathi Iva Yaraa,”** came out earlier, so “Aeroplane” makes two songs before release.

## Suriya’s Film Lineup, Explained

Suriya’s year has plenty in it. Here are the projects mentioned in the report.

**Scene (November 6, 2026):** The Diwali release described above. It is an action comedy in which Suriya plays a rule-bending officer.

**Vishwanath & Sons (streaming on Netflix):** His last release, directed by Venky Atluri and co-starring Mamitha Baiju. Suriya plays Sanjay Vishwanath, a successful industrialist who becomes a father through surrogacy. He later bonds with Maddy, a medical student. They develop feelings despite their age difference but don’t end up together. Years later, Maddy reconnects with Sanjay and his child, and their future stays uncertain. Radikaa Sarathkumar, Raveena Tandon and Nassar are also in the cast.

**SuriyaXHombale (tentative title, Suriya48):** His next lead role after *Scene*. TJ Gnanavel directs, and Hombale Films produces. Kayadu Lohar and Yogi Babu are in key roles.

## Suriya’s Lineup at a Glance

## Why This Release Matters?

Diwali is a big window for Tamil cinema, and *Scene* is aiming for it with two singles out before the film. For Suriya fans, it’s a change of pace from *Vishwanath & Sons*: a lighter, funnier role with a love story built into it.
