Google Gameface and SuperGaming Partner to Bring Wider Accessibility Features to Indus Battle Royale

At SuperGaming, their mission is to ensure that everyone can play games on a level and inclusive playing field. In collaboration with Google, we have integrated custom support into the Indus Engine for Project Gameface, offering a broader range of accessibility options so that no player is left behind.

Project Gameface is an open-source hands-free mouse that allows individuals to control a computer’s cursor using head movements and facial gestures. Players can raise their eyebrows to click and drag or open their mouths to move the cursor, enabling anyone to enjoy gaming.

For Indus, showcased at Google I/O Connect Bengaluru, we have configured the following controls:

With Gameface, players can enjoy Indus without the need for additional controllers or equipment. Accessibility is vital as it allows a wider range of players to enjoy games, irrespective of their cognitive, physical, or sensory abilities. Their aim is to promote inclusivity and empower individuals with disabilities to actively participate in the gaming community.

SuperGaming has thanked its fans for supporting them in building Indus, and they cannot wait to see all everyone on Virlok. For more information, please watch the video linked below to see the live action:
