Sunny Deol’s post-Gadar momentum has hit a wall. Despite massive expectations, *Batwara 1947* raked in only Rs 29 crore in its opening week. The narrative shift—casting Deol as a Pakistani savior—failed to ignite the same patriotic fervor as Tara Singh. With a projected total of just Rs 45 crore, this partition drama is fading fast from the cinematic landscape.
