Forget standard fiction. The Malayalam thriller *Sumathi Valavu* unearths a grim 1950s tragedy in Thiruvananthapuram. A pregnant woman’s brutal murder at Mylamoodu birthed decades of paranormal paranoia. Is it a vengeful spirit or just local folklore masking past crimes? This film blends historical trauma with urban legend, forcing us to question if the street’s haunting aura is fact or collective fear.
