With Alex Saji ruled out for the season due to a serious injury, the club needed a physically dominating centre-back. And they have achieved exactly that by bringing in Sapic.
The player joins from Bosnian side Zvijezda 09, having terminated his contract with them since the Nizams are still not eligible to sign contracted players from other clubs.
Having played across Europe, including the Europa League and Europa Conference League qualifiers, he brings a wealth of experience to the table too. It now remains to be seen if he can help Thangboi Singto’s side climb out of the bottom of the table after their disappointing start to the season.
What is Sapic’s age?
27 years old
