The biggest Starfield Update
Recently Bethesda turned to Twitter/X to announce its biggest update for Starfield by promising to bring more than 100 tweaks. The company teased the gargantuan update explaining that Steam Beta players can try the new update on January 17.
However, a full rollout for other players will be available after two weeks. The thread through which the teaser was shared is only describing a few things that you can expect from the update.
It includes bug fixes and quest bug fixes with more stability and graphics improvements. To highlight the difference Bethesda also shared before – and – after the post. This shows the improved textures, shadows, and lighting.
But we didn’t get too much information about the new Starfield update from this teaser. We can expect some more information on the new update when the patch notes are out on January 17.
There is another post from Bethesda that says,
“Other fixes and improvements include sun disk geometry, planet ring shadows, bulldozed objects reappearing when returning to an Outpost, ship hatches marked inaccessible, and another fix for asteroids following ships”.
As you may already know Bethesda released Starfield in the year 2018. And it was the last year that it finally offered to its players the original sci–fi world. And before anyone can notice or expect it, it launched Starfield update.
Players also took this handy and Microsoft soon announced that the game has got over 12 million players. These stats were only in early December, after that the number of players must have increased.
The rumors for the allegedly Starfield update were going on for a long time. One mention-worthy incident is when one Reddit user turned to the platform and shared some news on the update.
And now it seems like those rumors, saying there will be some quest bug fixes. But then again they are expected, as there were serious problems with them and players were complaining about that.
