Six new episodes of Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures, an animated preschool series from Lucasfilm with a High Republic setting, will be released on Disney+ in August, according to the company’s announcement.
Young Jedi Adventures’ executive producer, James Waugh, is also senior vice president of franchise content & strategy at Lucasfilm. “We’ve been thrilled to see a whole new generation fall in love with the Star Wars galaxy through Young Jedi Adventures,” he says. With these new episodes, “we hope to continue delighting younglings, Jedi padawans, and the fans of all ages who have dubbed themselves #NubsNation.”

The animated series, set during The High Republic era, follows Jedi Younglings as they study the ways of the Force and pick up crucial abilities required to become Jedi from Master Yoda and Master Zia. Initially seven episodes.
The first season of Star Wars will include 25 episodes and was initially released on May 4, Star Wars Day.

What makes Young Jedi Adventure more thrilling
According to writer Michael Olson, “each new episode will continue the swashbuckling adventures of Kai, Lys, and the ever-adorable Nubs,” as the protagonists battle evil foes and form bonds in “undiscovered and bright corners of the galaxy… We can’t wait for families to immerse themselves in these new episodes together, starting on a voyage to a galaxy far, far away!”
Tenoo Jedi Temple, the only LEGO set from Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures currently on the market, is furnished with unique components and rope torsos from the High Republic.
