Squid Game: The real-life island where the filming of the series was done has now been revealed!

Squid Game is a fictional survival series that required people to participate in a game that children would like to play. This is a game either they win at life in Squid Game or they would die trying.

The exact location of the real-life island where all the participants perform the games in the popular series named Squid Game was revealed by a TikTok user. It was released on Netflix.

The name of the place where the part of the series was supposedly filmed is called Seungbong-ri. It is an island which is located in the northwest of South Korea.

According to the Tik Tok user @thegoogleearthguy, The island which was revealed is an area where participants compete for a tempting prize in the most-watched series in the history of Netflix.

Meanwhile, the city where the metro station and the market scenes were shot is known as Daejeon. It is South Korea’s fifth-largest metropolis.

The audiences have gathered great interest in the South Korean drama Squid Game globally. The intense thriller has become one of the most-watched shows, within the few days of its release on the OTT platform named Netflix. This show has been trending at a number one spot in several countries since its premiere and memes based on the show have flooded the internet.

The Squid Game was released on 17th September. In the last month, the co-CEO of Ted Sarandos of Netflix has said that “It’s only been out for nine days, and it’s a very good chance it’s going to be our biggest show ever.” Jeff Bezos has also praised and said, “@ReedHastings and Ted Sarandos and the team at @Netflix
