Giovanni Lo Celso

There were rumours surfacing in the week gone by that Juventus were interested in Tottenham’s Lo Celso, and that Cristiano Ronaldo approved the deal from Juventus. Speaking on the Here We Go podcast, Fabrizio Romano deemed the links to be untrue.

Lo Celso is focused on Spurs, is not unhappy at the club and wants to be better to cement a place in the starting lineup for himself. All that said, there is nothing with Juventus and the player is intent on staying and fighting for his place at the club. The Argentinian has made 16 appearances across all major competitions and has scored thrice, assisting one goal.

Staying at Tottenham, Jose Mourinho had a great start to the season but it all fell apart from there, with Spurs seemingly having lost their spark. While it is slowly getting better now, things aren’t as good as they were.

Other managers were linked to be on tbe list of replacements for Jose Mourinho at Spurs, and Leipzig’s Julian Nagelsmann was right at the top of the list. A Lot of clubs were interested in him, considering his unbelievable talents, but right now Mourinho is still in control of the London whites.

The Dele Alli situation was putting Mourinho in an even more dangerous situation. He was on the market and not playing, but the proposed loan deal to PSG fell through because Spurs were unable to find a replacement for the player. Mourinho is willing to complete the season and is willing to focus on the Europa League.

While it is seemingly impossible to say what will happen right now, things will be much clearer when the season is done and dusted.
