Champions League knockout stage : Spurs Win Over Real Madrid at Wembley

Tottenham topped their group and sealed passage into the Champions League knockout stages as Dele Alli inspired a 3-1 win over Real Madrid on a magical night at Wembley. On a night where the Champions League holders were well off the pace, Spurs humiliated the European champions. Although this was only a group stage encounter it will live in the memory of the Spur’s fans for many, many years to come.

Elsewhere, Roma thrashed Chelsea 3-0 in a rematch after their 3-3 draw in London, while Manchester United easily handled Benfica 2-0.
