The postponement of the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo a year ahead due to the coronavirus pandemic has predictably led to a domino effect. The status world championships in the summer sports calendar 2021 have also been postponed. Check predictions for the events at https://odds2win.bet/.

Unfortunately, the chaos with the international calendar is happening now in most of the summer Olympic sports. And we are talking about this year and about the next year. The change in the summer Games dates forced the international sports federations to redraw the competitive calendars of 2021 world sporting events as much as possible. 

January

  • December 26 – January 5 – World Youth Hockey Championship (Edmonton, Red Deer)
  • January 21-31 – XXX Winter Universiade (Lucerne, Switzerland).
  • January 14-31 – Men’s World Handball Championship (Suez, Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh; Egypt).
  • January 25-31 – European Figure Skating Championships (Zagreb; Croatia).

  • February 8-14 – Figure Skating Championship of the Four Continents (Sydney, Australia).

  • March 1 – 7 – World Junior Figure Skating Championships (Harbin, China).
  • March 22 – 28 – World Figure Skating Championships (Stockholm, Sweden).

  • April 11-14 – World Figure Skating Team Championship (Tokyo, Japan).

May

  • May 7-23 – Ice Hockey World Championship (Riga, Latvia and Minsk, Belarus).
