Cornered by a bribery frame-up and a media smear campaign, Cheon Yeo Ri isn’t backing down. The next episode of tvN’s “Spooky in Love” finally lets Park Eun Bin’s character go on the offensive — and it’s shaping up to be one of the drama’s most satisfying turns yet.

## What’s Happening In The Story

“Spooky in Love,” a remake of the 2011 film [Spellbound](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spellbound_(2011_film)), follows a hotel heiress who sees ghosts and a prosecutor who’s terrified of them. In the previous episode, Cheon Yeo Ri (Park Eun Bin) successfully defended her CEO position against her own greedy relatives — only for Kang Min Hwan (Ong Seong Wu) to team up with her enemies and frame her for bribery, taking the fight public to turn opinion against her.

## What To Expect Next

| Development | Details |
| --- | --- |
| Her move | Uses evidence she’s quietly gathered on Reina Group’s corruption to expose her enemies |
| Her image shift | Responds to press and prosecution with newfound confidence, not defensiveness |
| Key scene | Appears with her lawyer at the prosecutor’s office, calmly facing reporters and prosecutor Im Seo Hyun (Im Chae Young) |

## Why This Turn Matters

What’s made Cheon Yeo Ri compelling so far is that she’s never been purely reactive — she’s been building a case in the background while everyone assumed she was cornered. This episode is the payoff: instead of just surviving Kang Min Hwan’s smear campaign, she flips the narrative entirely, using his own tactics against him. It’s a classic underdog-to-power-player arc, and Park Eun Bin’s ability to shift from vulnerable to commanding is exactly the kind of performance fans have praised her for in past roles.
