Marvel just dropped the first trailer for its newest superhero crossover, and this one’s built for the whole family. *Spidey and the Avengers: Halloween Team-Up* brings together heroes from three different animated universes for a spooky season showdown — and fans are already buzzing.

### What’s the New Crossover About?

The animated special merges characters from *Spidey and His Amazing Friends*, *Iron Man and His Awesome Friends*, and the upcoming *Avengers: Mightiest Friends* series. Set during Halloween, the story follows Spider-Man, Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, Black Panther, and Wasp as they team up to stop villain Hallows’ Eve from wrecking the holiday — complete with a giant skeletal dinosaur fight in the trailer.

The special premieres on Disney Jr. on September 24, arriving on Disney+ the very next day.

### Marvel’s Bigger Crossover Wave

This isn’t a one-off. Marvel has a stacked lineup of team-ups heading to screens over the next year.

| Project | Crossover Highlight | Release Window |
| --- | --- | --- |
| *Spidey and the Avengers: Halloween Team-Up* | Spidey + young Avengers vs. Hallows’ Eve | Sept 24–25, 2026 |
| *VisionQuest* | Vision reunites with Ultron & MCU’s AI companions | Oct 14, 2026 |
| *Daredevil: Born Again* S3 | Full Netflix Defenders reunion | TBA |
| *Avengers: Doomsday* | 2+ dozen heroes vs. Doctor Doom | Dec 18, 2026 |
| *Avengers: Secret Wars* | Multiverse-spanning finale | Dec 17, 2027 |
| *Heroes for Hire* (rumored) | Luke Cage & Iron Fist reteam | Unconfirmed |

### Why This Matters for the MCU?

Spider-Man has long been the connective thread across [Marvel Comics’](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvel_Comics) team-up storytelling, and Marvel Studios is clearly leaning into that legacy on the small screen. With *VisionQuest* dropping soon and *Daredevil: Born Again* building toward its biggest reunion yet, this Halloween special is really the opening act of a much larger crossover season heading toward *Avengers: Doomsday*.
