Spider-Man animated series ‘Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse’ has got an official trailer. In this animated sequel, Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy work to rescue every Spider-Man, Spider-Woman, and Spider-Person in the multiverse.
Together with the new crew, Miles must stop a mysterious new villain, who happens to be planning a disaster that could disrupt each universe. In the trailer, he is told, “Being a Spider-Man is a sacrifice.” This is going to be one of the great superhero animation films.
We have seen an image of Mile Morales and Gwen Stacy hanging around. The new trailer of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse sequel has exposed 2018’s Oscar Winner Spider-man: Into the Spider-Verse.
The new trailer has come jointly with the conversation between Miles and his mother Rio Morales. There is a conversation between them, talking about her “little boy” who is loving, and caring, that firs him.
We are going to see an extended version while Gwen Stacy comes back to his universe and starts to pull him via portal to travel to the multiverse. In every Spider-Man show, we have seen a hub for the different versions to comb over to boost the expectation of the audiences.
In the last trailer, we saw Gwen coming as Miles in his universe, it was unveiled both have left Mile’s house. After that, the scene has been shifted to Miles with some perilous situations battling just against a new interdimensional travelling enemy named ‘Spot’. We are expecting that the new trailer will expose the new villain based on Miles’s journey in the latest two-part film.
Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse: Cast
Additionally, regarding the previously mentioned voice talent, the returning cast members are Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker, Brian Tyree Henry, and Rusell Richardson as the father of Miles Jefferson Davis. Other confirmed characters contain the world of Spider-man as the Spot has been voiced by Jason Schwartzman. Daniel Kaluuya will lend the voice to Spider-Punk/Hobert “Hobie” Brown.
However, the directors are Joaquim dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson. The producers are Lord and Miller, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad, and Christina Steinberg come as the producers with Alonzo Ruvalcaba. Lord and Miller have been credited as writers. Peter Ramsey is the returning executive producer along with Aditya Sood.
Alongside Moore and Steinfeld, the cast includes Oscar Isaac as Spider-Man 2099, Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker from the first movie, Issa Rae as Spider-Woman, Daniel Kaluuya as Spider-Punk, Jason Schwartzman as the Spot, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Vélez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone, and Shea Whigham.
The movie has been co-directed by Joaquim Dos Santos (“Avatar: The Last Airbender”), Kemp Powers (“Soul”), and Justin K. Thompson (“Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse”), the sequel was co-written by “Into the Spider-Verse” screenwriters, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, alongside Marvel veteran Dave Callaham (“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”).
Lord and Miller serve as producers, alongside Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, and Christina Steinberg with co-producer Alonzo Ruvalcaba and executive producers Brian Michael Bendis, Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, Rodney Rothman, and Aditya Sood.
Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse: Release Date
The theatrical release of the film was pushed back from April 2022 to June 2, 2023. The “Spider-Verse: Into the Spider-Verse” sequel will be delivered in two parts: Part 1 is “Across the Spider-Verse,” released on June 2, followed by Part 2, “Beyond the Spider-Verse,” The animated Spider-man series has set to hit on 2nd June 2023, while Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse will release on 29th March 2024.
