5. Ansu Fati (Barcelona) – €60 million

The Barcelona forward has shown glimpses of his brilliance on several occasions. But, he has been hit by several serious injuries which have kept him out of action. Regardless, Ansu Fati is right up there with the most talented young attackers in the world and could really make an impact for Spain in the future.

4. Marcos Llorente (Atletico Madrid) – €60 million

Marcos Llorente is a very versatile player, who mainly operates in central midfield. The Atletico Madrid man has been deployed at right-back on several occasions, and has the ability to play in the final third too.

3. Rodri (Manchester City) – €70 million

Rodri’s contributions to the team defensively cannot be understated. He provides a cover to the backline which is extremely effective in the case of counter attacks. The Manchester City midfielder has earned 31 caps so far, and has successfully inherited the defensive midfielder role from Fernandinho.

2. Mikel Oyarzabal (Real Sociedad) – €70 million

Oyarzabal is a creative winger, able to perform on either flank, and can score goals as well. He has been very influential for Spain in the last few years, and has been able to establish himself as a regular starter under Luis Enrique too.

1. Pedri (Barcelona) – €80 million

The Golden Boy takes the top spot as the most valuable player in Spain’s squad. He played almost every minute of their Euro 2020 campaign, and was named the young player of the tournament. Due to the maturity beyond his years that he can display in the middle of the park, he is rightfully among the best young midfielders in the world right now.
