Spain clinches the knockout stage after a clinical 1-0 win against Uruguay. Álex Baena’s first-half strike, fueled by a Fernando Muslera blunder, secures La Roja as Group H winners. Uruguay crashes out as tournament underdogs Cape Verde advance instead. Spain now sets their sights on a July 2 showdown, leaving the South American giants stunned in this historic World Cup upset.
