K-pop icon Soyou is stepping away from the spotlight following the heartbreaking loss of her father at age 70. Her agency officially confirmed the news, announcing a temporary halt to all scheduled activities.

Respecting the family’s privacy, funeral proceedings will be held behind closed doors. We send our deepest condolences to Soyou during this incredibly difficult time of mourning.
