Sony’s noise-cancelling earbuds have received high marks for both their superb audio quality and ability to cancel out outside noise. The WF-1000XM4 earbuds, the final model in Sony’s range of earbuds, with a V1 processor for better noise suppression and music processing. It turns out that fans anticipating the Sony WF-1000XM5 earphones have positive news on the way, recent leaks have disclosed the earbuds’ design and some other details.

The model number and the location of manufacture are printed on the portion holding the ear tips in the photographs that have leaked, which indicates a more compact design than the previous model. This design modification probably makes it easier to achieve a great fit in the ear. There could be more to the design than what can be seen, but the leaked images only show one side of the earphones.
The earbuds’ shell is made of glossy black plastic, while the final product might have a different color. A tactile dot and a microphone hole can be seen on the left side, however, it is unclear which microphone is there. According to rumours, the bottom will house a proximity sensor. The touch panel and Bluetooth antenna are both built into the top surface of the earbuds.
There have also been some substantial alterations to the charging case. In contrast to the previous model’s three communication and charging pins, the current model has just two. It appears that the case material will be matte, just like the current model, and it will allow wireless charging. The increased charging capacity raises the possibility that the earbuds have undergone some form of improvement, even though the size of the new case cannot be ascertained from the leaked photographs.
Despite the great news, fans still don’t know the earbuds’ official battery capacity, despite the fact that leaked images show the battery occupying a sizeable portion of the interior.
