Earlier today, a new leak has emerged which reveals Sony‘s latest audio product, the new hearables are the Linkbuds WF-L900 truly wireless buds that can be observed in two color variants.

The news comes from TechInsiderBlog who shared images of the upcoming earbuds on Twitter, as per the images, the new wireless earphones feature a unique design. The leaked images of the earbuds do not feature an ear tip, the Linkbuds have two rings of holes. In addition to this, the main body contains much while the doughnut-shaped segment will rest on top of the user’s ear canal.

This part stays in place owing to a silicon tip. The Linkbuds would also feature a proximity sensor to detect if you have taken them off, as per the reports, the main body of the TWS earbuds may also be touch-sensitive with support for gesture controls since there are no visible buttons.

The new model could not be the replacement model for the Japanese tech giant’s WF-100XM4 earbuds but could be positioned right below it. The leaked images also reveal their charging case and two color variants, namely Black and White.

Apart from the unique design, the only notable aspect is the feedback and feed-forward microphones. This implies that the Linkbuds will feature active noise cancellation (ANC) as well.

Consider that this is just a preliminary leak and there are a lot of details still unknown. We can expect more details to emerge in the coming days so stay tuned!
