Mr. Sunil Nayyar, Managing Director at Sony India, will introduce the Sony HT-S40R at a live launch event scheduled at 12 noon IST. The HT-S40R soundbar is a 5.1 channel audio system; combination of soundbar, subwoofer, and wireless rear speakers. Altogether, the package can produce 600W of power and provide you with a dynamic surround sound experience. To provide this high-quality surround sound experience, the Dolby Digital technology also contributes equally.
If cabling is the issue you are thinking about, it’s actually not. That is because of the wireless design. All the parts like rear speakers, amplifier, subwoofer, and soundbar connect with each other wirelessly. The only requirement is the power supply. Sony uses Bluetooth 5.0 for this wireless connectivity. If your TV supports a Bluetooth A2DP profile, no wired connection between your TV and the soundbar is required. The soundbar also has HDMI ARC, optical input, and analogue input.
The remote in the box allows you to select a particular mode based on your content. Don’t worry; it’s just a one-click task.
