Sony Bravia X80J series with 4K HDR and Dolby Atmos launched in India

Sony has launched its new sets of TV in India. We are talking about the Sony Bravia X80J series which comprises five models: 75-inch, 65-inch, 55-inch, 50-inch, and 43-inch set. All these Sony TVs are powered by the X1 4K HDR processor and run on Google TV. The Sony Bravia X80J series is known to display accurate colours with the aid of the Triluminos Pro display.

The TV sets are equipped with Google Assistant. You can also connect Apple devices by using Apple Home Kit and AirPlay support. You will find inbuilt microphones so that they can listen to your voice commands. Apart from this, to better your listening experience the Bravia X80J series features Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and an X-balanced speaker.

To make the TV robust, it comes with X-Protection PRO technology. This helps it against dust and humidity, lightning strikes, and power surges. The second biggest TV set of this series, the 65-inch model, has a 4K display with direct LED backlighting and frame dimming and has up to 60 Hz refresh rate. HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Digital Surround are all supported, as is Motionflow XR 200 technology.

It has a storage of 16 GB. Connectivity options include four HDMI ports, two USB ports, a headphone jack, Bluetooth 4.2, and Wi-Fi. Only this 65-inch model is available in the Indian market as of now. The remaining models might follow soon. The pricing for all five models is not out yet. Only the pricing of the 65-inch model is released and is priced around Rs. 1.3 lakh. The sale has started from 9th April across all Sony Centres, major electronic stores, and e-commerce portals in India.
