Sony Bravia X80AJ, X74, and W820 Android TVs launching on Amazon India

Sony has recently announced the new Bravia X80J series with 4K HDR and Dolby Atmos in India. It seems that three new Android TVs are also making their way via Amazon India.

A total of 3 Sony Bravia Android TVs are launching on Amazon, including the 65-inch variant of the Sony Bravia X80AJ with Google TV OS, the 32-inch budget W820, and finally, the 43-inch X74 4K Android TV.

Sony Bravia X80AJ

Sony is likely to bring the new premium 4K TV in the form of the X80AJ with 65-inches 4K display with HDR support. For connectivity, you have Wi-Fi Certified 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.2 whereas you have Sony’s 4K HDR processor X1 baked into the TV.

This is not an OLED panel but an LCD one with an LED-backlit display and 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution, running on the new Google TV OS and support for Google Assistant. The TV supports both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos comes with Chromecast built-in and works with Apple AirPlay/Apple HomeKit. For audio, you have 2 x 10W speakers as well.

Sony Bravia X74

This is almost similar to the Bravia X80AJ but has some cut-downs as it comes with the same display but with 43-inches in size. You have got the 4K Processor X1 powering the TV but you have an older Android TV OS instead of the new Google TV OS.

Also, there’s no support for Dolby Vision support, apart from these minor differences, everything else remains the same as the Bravia X80AJ.

Sony Bravia W820

The Sony Bravia W820 will launch in a 32-inch variant with 1366 x 768 resolution, and indeed this is a budget model. It still runs Android TV OS and looks modern with narrow bezels, supports Dolby Audio with the same 2 x 10W speakers.

This Android TV will be targeted towards the growing budget Smart Android TV market and of these models will be available on Amazon India soon.
