Dajiro Nakano, Deputy Managing Director at Sony India, stated that the company is committed to meeting the evolving needs of professional users by offering advanced display solutions that combine innovation, reliability, and outstanding visuals. The FW-98BZ30L is purposely designed to offer an immersive viewing experience with simplified integration and dependable 24/7 performance featuring high brightness, significant size, and the capabilities of the powerful AI-based XR Cognitive Processor, he added.
Nakano says they believe this model will be a game-changer for businesses looking for premium big-format display solutions. Starting April 15, 2025, the FW-98BZ30L will be available in India through authorised Sony distributors. Available for ₹15,00,000 onwards, the brand offers a standard 3-year warranty but also offers to extend it at an extra price. The 98-inch display features Sony’s XR Cognitive Processor, providing upscaled 4K resolution with brilliant colors, precise detail, and smooth motion treatment.
The screen runs on Android OS for efficient content management and delivers consistent brightness and color accuracy for lifelike images. It also features 32GB of internal storage and is 22% lighter than previous models, improving ease of installation. Built for round-the-clock operation, the display offers extensive connectivity options including HDMI, USB, and control ports.
The BZ30L series includes a range of screen sizes—98, 85, 75, 65, 55, 50, and 43 inches. All models come with a new center alignment rail kit for easier mounting, while the FW-98BZ30L specifically uses a standard center-aligned VESA mount pattern.
