## New Cast — Fresh Faces Enter the Sonic Universe

**Kristen Bell** joins as **Amy Rose**, the pink hedgehog with a major crush on Sonic — a hugely significant addition given Amy’s importance in the game lore. [IMDb](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt33978029/) Best known as Anna in *Frozen* and Eleanor in *The Good Place*, Bell is a natural fit.

Also new to the franchise are **Sir Ben Kingsley**, and comedy legends **Matt Berry** (*What We Do In The Shadows*), **Nick Offerman** (*Parks and Recreation*), and **Richard Ayoade** (*The IT Crowd*). [The Cinemaholic](https://thecinemaholic.com/where-ready-or-not-2-here-i-come-filmed/) Kingsley and Offerman are confirmed to be voicing characters — suggesting anthropomorphic or robotic roles rather than humans. [Fandom](https://disney.fandom.com/wiki/Ready_or_Not_2:_Here_I_Come) The roles of Berry and Ayoade remain under wraps, though fan speculation is already running wild.

The **Parks and Recreation** reunion between Ben Schwartz and Nick Offerman is already generating buzz — and it’s the kind of meta casting that the Sonic franchise does brilliantly.

## What’s the Plot?

The film draws inspiration from the 1993 video game *Sonic CD*, which marks the debut of both Amy Rose and Metal Sonic. Director Jeff Fowler confirmed the connection honours the source material’s chronology, though the story won’t be a direct adaptation. Expect **Metal Sonic** to play a role — whether he’ll have a voice actor is still unknown.
