## From Love Alarm to White Scandal

Song Kang and Kim So Hyun’s on-screen history goes back to *Love Alarm*, the Netflix drama that turned both actors into household names. Per its [Wikipedia entry](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_Alarm), the series starred Kim So-hyun, Jung Ga-ram, and Song Kang, and followed a high schooler navigating young love in a world shaped by a location-based dating app. That youthful chemistry is exactly why *White Scandal* has generated so much buzz — except this time, the story trades teenage romance for something far more layered, built around trauma, identity, and long-buried secrets.

It also marks a major career moment for Song Kang, who returns to leading-man status after completing his mandatory military service last October. ## Why This Reunion Matters

Reunions like this tend to hit differently for K-drama fans — there’s a built-in nostalgia factor, paired with genuine curiosity about how much both actors have grown since their earlier collaboration. Kim So Hyun has built an impressive resume since *Love Alarm*, including hits like *The Tale of Nokdu* and *My Lovely Liar*, while Song Kang has become one of Netflix’s most recognizable Korean stars through *Sweet Home* and *My Demon*.

With filming set to begin soon, expect casting updates, first-look photos, and script details to roll out over the coming months.
