After stealing hearts in *Descendants of the Sun*, Song Joong Ki is officially returning to KBS — and the premise of his new drama *Love Cloud* is already giving fans all the feels.

KBS confirmed on May 14 that Song Joong Ki has been cast in the upcoming romantic comedy **“Love Cloud”** (literal title), scheduled for release in the first half of 2027. For those who’ve been waiting for his small-screen comeback, the wait is nearly over.

### What Is *Love Cloud* About?

The drama tells the story of a former flight instructor and a former trainee pilot who reunite seven years later — now as an air traffic controller and a commercial pilot — in the breezy, scenic backdrop of **Jeju Island**, where even love, it seems, becomes weather.

Song Joong Ki will play **Kang Woo Joo**, the air traffic controller navigating both skies and second chances. **Park Ji Hyun** (*Reborn Rich*) is currently in talks to play the female lead, Ahn Ha Nee. The two previously shared screen chemistry in *Reborn Rich*, so this reunion already has fans buzzing.
