Somerset staged a sensational 267-run chase to dismantle Essex in the 2026 Women’s One-Day Cup. Rebecca Odgers’ unbeaten 133 and Sophie Luff’s 103 fueled a clinical 223-run partnership, rendering Essex’s 266 total insufficient.

With Ellie Anderson’s sharp bowling limiting Essex early, Somerset’s aggressive, record-breaking performance secures a massive boost for their qualification campaign. The tournament race just got significantly hotter.
