Good news for anyone who binged the Shlorpians last year: the alien family is coming back to Netflix for one more round. Netflix has picked up the final batch of episodes, and it’s a licensing deal, not a new order, so this is the show’s Hulu finale finding a second home.

### Solar Opposites Season 6 : Overview

| Detail | Info |
| --- | --- |
| **Netflix date** | October 13, 2026 (US confirmed, other regions expected the same day) |
| **Status** | Final season, originally a Hulu order |
| **Already on Netflix** | Seasons 1-5, added last year |
| **Netflix viewing** | 111 million hours, 28.7 million views |
| **Season 7** | Not ordered |

### A Strong Second Life

Animated shows don’t always travel well, but this one has. Since Seasons 1-5 arrived on Netflix, they’ve pulled in 111 million viewing hours globally. That’s a healthy result for a licensed adult animated series, and it likely helped bring Season 6 over.

The show follows a dysfunctional group of aliens who escape the destruction of Planet Shlorp and crash-land on Earth. Their mission is to survive while the infant-like Pupa terraforms the planet, but Earth culture, petty squabbles and shrinking humans keep distracting them. The voice cast includes Thomas Middleditch, Mary Mack, Sean Giambrone and Dan Stevens.

### Will There Be a Season 7?

Not officially. Hulu ended the run with Season 6, and the ending divided fans: some felt it was rushed, and it closes on a big cliffhanger. Co-creator Mike McMahan, however, is teasing hope, saying the Shlorpians are “not getting out that easy” and that the ending would pay off if the show ever returned.

If Season 6 posts big numbers on Netflix this October, could the streamer step in? It has happened before with other shows.
