Sofyan Amrabat to return to Fiorentina in 2024 after disappointing Man Utd loan spell

Big things were expected when Sofyan Amrabat moved to Manchester United from Fiorentina, but things just haven’t clicked for the midfielder this season. After impressing the world at the FIFA World Cup 2022, and championing Morocco to a semi-final spot, the player earned a well deserved move to one of the biggest sides in the world.

But after being played out of position and failing to adapt to a new league, it now seems like the Moroccan will return to Fiorentina at the end of the season. Manchester United have the option to buy him from the Serie A club for €25 million, but they will not pay any more than the €10 million loan fee for the player as things stand.

Sofyan Amrabat could make the move to Juventus

People haven’t forgotten what the midfielder can do at his best. And in keeping with that notion, Juventus are keeping track of the situation to try and secure a transfer for Sofyan Amrabat when he returns in the summer.

The Bianconeri have signed some of Fiorentina’s best players recently, first in Federico Chiesa, and then Dusan Vlahovic. Now, it seems like Amrabat could join the list if things turn out in favour of Juventus.

It now remains to be seen how the player finishes the season so that he can still maintain his value in the market.
