### What Is Agent Kim Reactivated About?

Based on a popular webtoon, *Agent Kim Reactivated* is a new action revenge drama that tells the story of Manager Kim (So Ji Sub), a seemingly ordinary dad with a secret past who puts everything on the line to save his beloved daughter.

It’s the kind of premise that writes itself — a man who buried his dangerous past, only for it to come roaring back when the thing he loves most is threatened. And if Episode 1 is anything to go by, [So Ji Sub](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/So_Ji-sub) — one of Korean television’s most magnetic leading men — is delivering the performance of his career.

The drama got off to a strong start, with its first episode earning the highest premiere ratings of any miniseries in 2026. That is not a small achievement in today’s fiercely competitive K-Drama landscape, and it signals that audiences are already deeply invested.

### Episode 2 Preview: The Briefcase That Changes Everything

In newly released stills from the upcoming second episode, Manager Kim prepares to track down his missing daughter by retrieving a mysterious “007 briefcase” that he had kept hidden. Wearing a black suit and black gloves, he arrives alone in a deserted alley in front of a house with his briefcase in tow.

What happens next is pure adrenaline. As soon as the door opens, Manager Kim skillfully subdues a group of people in an instant, launching a ruthless attack with his precise strikes and nimble movements — his dormant fighting instincts fully reawakened. The production team themselves couldn’t hide their excitement, saying: “So Ji Sub portrayed the desperation of a father determined to find his daughter through cold charisma and explosive action. Please keep an eye on what moves this father will make as he unleashes the reawakened instincts he had kept hidden.” [Yahoo Sports](https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/germany-face-paraguay-world-cup-022740593.html?guccounter=1)

Cold charisma and explosive action in the same sentence? Yes, please.
