Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Announced: iQOO Z10 Turbo Leads Lineup of Upcoming Phones
Following the launch, iQOO teased that the Z10 Turbo will be the first device powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Although not all of the specs have been shared, the company told its fans it will release a Z10 Turbo Pro later this month. The device will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED 1.5K 144Hz display, a 7,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging, and a 50MP + 8MP dual rear camera setup with OIS, as well as a 16MP selfie camera, according to the reports.
In addition, a tipster named Experience More also stated that the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro, Oppo K13 Pro, and Meizu 22 Note will feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 as well. The announcement mentions that the chip will also be used for the Poco F7 and Xiaomi 15 Civi [not to be confused with the COE990 model], which is expected to be discounted in this order as the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro and Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro.
The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will reportedly have a 6.8-inch 1.5K flat OLED display, a dual-camera setup with 50MP as the main sensor, and a 7,550mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging. The phone is also rumored to have a metal middle frame, a glass back, and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Meanwhile, reports suggest the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro will feature a quad-curved OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution, a 6,000mAh battery with 67W charging, and a slim 7mm profile. Details about the Oppo K13 Pro and Meizu 22 Note remain scarce, with more information expected in the coming weeks.
