Xiaomi generally launches a new product almost every week. You will hardly get a thing that this Chinese brand didn’t have in its catalog. But in maximum cases, these launches are either global or China-specific. In the case of India, Xiaomi started organizing a special event named “Smarter Living” in 2018 for some attractive launches. Though the portfolio update continues throughout the year, still, it’s a separate event. This Tuesday was the 3rd edition of that Smarter Living where the company presented six products to the Indians. Here is the list –

Mi Watch Revolve
It’s the first smartwatch from Xiaomi in India. Through this is the first product, it tried to fulfill all the demands the Mi fans asked for – better display, great battery life, sleek design, smart features, and waterproofing.
The Mi Watch Revolve is coming with a 46mm AMOLED display having the brightness of 450nits and protected by Gorilla Glass 3. There is also the always-on-display feature. Along with 10 sports modes, there are multiple sensors to track and monitor your activities as well as a health condition. The Firstbeat algorithm cooks the report with the help of the inputs taken by Revolve. As per the company, the watch can run for up to 1 week in the case of heavy usage, and around 2 weeks for normal usage.
There are two color variants – Midnight Black with Space Black straps and Chrome Silver with Neptune Blue straps. Though there are five other straps too with different colors which can be changed easily. It actually costs Rs.10,999, but till Diwali, it will be available at Rs.9,999. Mi Smart Band 5
Xiaomi brings the same Mi Smart Band 5 to India that it launched in China during June. It has a 1.1-inch AMOLED display, sensors to track and monitor your day to day activities along with heart rate and sleep, menstrual cycle indicator in women mode, 11 workout modes, and more. Against a single charge, it can go for two to three weeks long.

Mi Athleisure Shows
It’s the only non-electronic product launched on the Smarter Living. Xiaomi is bringing this new Mi Athleisure Shoes to complete your home workout. It is lightweight and comes with a breathable honeycomb mesh design, heel support, and shock-absorbing EVA sole. There are three color variants – Blue, Grey, and Black, is currently available on the Mi website and Mi homes at Rs.1,499.

Mi Automatic Soap Dispenser
In this global pandemic hand wash is a must thing we need to do multiple times in a day. Keeping this in mind, Xiaomi brings a contactless way, the Mi Automatic Soap Dispenser. To get soap from it, you just need to put your hand below the outlet, the intelligent infrared proximity sensor senses the hand movement and releases the soap by just 0.25 seconds. There is also an on/off button to control the automatic dispensing. It has a 300ml soap capacity and a free pouch also comes along with the unit. This automated soap dispenser is available on the Mi website at Rs.999.

Mi Smart Speaker
As per Xiaomi, all the smart speakers available in India is mainly focusing on the smartness, and not on the audio quality. To fill the vacant market, it introduces the Mi Smart Speaker. Xiaomi gives it a special metal mesh design, on top of the 63.5mm huge audio driver and 12W of powerful audio output capability. A Texas Instrument Hi-Fi audio processor is added inside to help to decode the right audio signals. Besides that, the DTS audio codec is also there. The Google Assistant is powering this product, so you can enjoy that too. It will be available on the first day of October via the official website and Flipkart at Rs.3,499.

Mi Smart LED Bulb (White)
It’s not for the first time, there are already smart bulbs from Mi in the Indian market. This new one is a 7.5W B22 bulb that pushes up to 810 lumens at peak brightness. It can be controlled through a smartphone by pairing with the Mi Home app or voice assistants’ apps. It is up for sale on the Mi website and Mi Homes at Rs.499.
