In an effort to extend the market, Skoda is releasing new variations for the Kushaq and Slavia. The Kushaq Onyx Edition, which is sandwiched between the Active and Ambition Classic trims, has lately been used to demonstrate this. However, in both the Kushaq and the Slavia, the 1.5L TSI engine was only available in the most upscale Style version.
Lower-trim Kushaqs and Slavias Get a 1.5L Engine
The fact that Skoda is now offering its bulldog engine in mid-spec Ambition trim has changed that. Skoda is ensuring that consumers who prefer this high-performance engine don’t have to spend a significant portion of their cash on top-spec trim packages in this way. Slavia Ambition 1.5 TSI pricing has been released, with prices starting at ₹14.94 with Slavia and ₹14.99 lakhs. The 1.5 Slavia models are now ₹2.06 lakh and ₹2.16 lakh more affordable.
This action by Skoda has resulted in price reductions for the 1.5L TSI engine of ₹2.5 lakhs for the Kushaq and ₹2.16 lakh for the Slavia. Even if there are fewer amenities, this is a sizable chunk, and automotive purists who prefer higher performance to a thicker brochure will undoubtedly like it. This transition was made easier by the fact that Slavia and Kushaq Style variants did not include feel-good features like a 10.25″ touchscreen infotainment panel. Moreover, Skoda offers a DSG gearbox, with prices for Ambition 1.5 DSG beginning at ₹16.79 lakhs for the Kushaq and ₹16.24 lakh for the Slavia.
Lacking Functions in Ambition Trim
Style trim has several characteristics that Ambition trim does not. Among them are push-button start and keyless entry, leather seats, front seat ventilation, a few exterior chrome accents, rain-sensing wipers, automated headlights, a completely digital instrument cluster, a sunroof, wireless charging, and other features. These feature omissions are not deal-breakers with Kushaq Ambition 1.5 TSI.
However, compared to Style trim, the Ambition 1.5 TSI with Slavia loses a few more features. In addition to 6 airbags, keyless entry with push-button start, all the telematics features, leather upholstery, heated front seats, dual-tone interiors, rain-sensing wipers, automated headlights, a sunroof, wireless charging, and a few other features, this car has these as well.
