Lando Norris cruised to yet another win this season at the Singapore Grand Prix. The McLaren driver had a few close shaves with the barricade, but managed to drive his way to another victory to close the gap with Max Verstappen.
McLaren have been in a league of their own this season, with both Norris and Oscar Piastri performing well above expectations at the start of the year. Verstappen finished second while Piastri completed the top three to make it another double podium for the team.

“It was an amazing race,” Norris said. “A few too many close calls – I had a couple of little moments in the middle – but it was well controlled, I think, otherwise.
“The car was mega. I could push, we were flying the whole race, and at the end could just chill. So it was a nice race, still tough, I’m a bit out of breath, but a fun one.”
Daniel Ricciardo might have had his last outing as an F1 driver, after denying Norris an extra point. The Australian’s place in Red Bull’s second squad, RB, seems under threat, but his intervention of pit-stopping late to deny a point to Norris might prove vital.
F1 now has a month-long break before heading to the United States to kick off the last six rounds of the season starting October 21.
