Silo season 2: Release date When does it air?
Fortunately, Apple TV+ decided to renew the show before the season finale, so there’s no need to worry about what will happen to Silo. Fortunately, we will receive some answers as the news was released two weeks before the conclusion of season one. even though there will be a brief wait.
Howey authored three books, and based on the season one conclusion, it appears that the first and second seasons will take cues from the first book before exploring the remaining stories.

The cast started filming season two in the UK back in June, but due to the Hollywood strikes the very next month, production was put on hold. On the other hand, according to ScreenDaily, filming resumed in December at Hoddesdon Studios in Hertfordshire.
Therefore, the new Silo will arrive eventually, albeit a little later than anticipated. Not only is filming ongoing, but a project like this might require a long post-production phase.

Silo Season 2: Plot
Silo’s second season will undoubtedly begin up where the first season left off, following the story arc of the series’ first novel. Juliette will probably go through some intense struggles in the second season since she completely understands how to live. This would entail her reaching out to individuals in the other silos, which might even result in the reappearance of some well-known characters from the first season, such as the early deported Holston Becker (David Oyelowo) and his wife Allison (Rashida Jones).
The story needs to closely follow the novel since lead actress (and executive producer) Ferguson disclosed that she was in “continuous communication” with the author during the filming process. Ferguson remained evasive in a July interview with IndieWire, but hinted at Juliette’s future in the upcoming chapter.
“I love where we are going to in season two,” she stated. “She definitely learns new tricks and things get very wet.”
As she also mentioned to Variety, there is a lot for fans to anticipate in the upcoming season: “The writing is excellent. The program grows more darker. It doesn’t deviate from our current understanding. However, it gets gritty and darker.”
Regarding the show’s future, Ferguson declined to speculate on how long it would run.
“I’m an entrepreneur. I enter with my wits fully intact,” she remarked (via Collider). “I strike a deal and sign a contract. I won’t reveal the details of that arrangement to you.I’m quite clear about what I want. It’s up to my amazing team at Apple to decide what they want to accomplish as well. We all save our backs, you know.
“We look at what will work moving forward. You don’t reach a point where you say, “Let’s see what happens,” given my age and my background, do you? November is already reserved for another shoot. Two or three years ahead, I believe.”
