Due to the spike in Covid-19 cases, filmmakers postponed the theatrical release of many films for an indefinite period of time. OTT platforms will be making a huge profit in this period again. Two recent hits from the Telegu film industry Shyam Singha Roy and Akhanda will be streaming on Netflix and Disney Plus Hotstar very soon.
Shyam Singha Roy is ready to stream on Netflix from 21st January.

The film is directed by Rahul Sankrityan that sees Nani in the title role. The film stars Sai Pallavi and Krithi Shetty as female leads, the production was appreciated by the critics and the audience liked it for its periodic setup and production design.

Akhanda
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s (NBK) latest film Akhanda finished its 50 days of theatrical release and is ready to get run on the OTT platform as well. It will start streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar from 21st January, from 18:00 onwards.
Features an extensive star cast including Pragya Jaiswal, Jagapathi Babu, Srikanth, Nithin Mehta, Poorna (Shamna Kasim), Subbaraju, Avinash, Sravan, Prabhakar, Deshna Javaji and Viji Chandrasekhar, Akhanda has Nandamuri Balakrishna playing a dual role.
