## The Four Producer Teams — A Powerhouse Lineup

**Zico & Crush** — Zico returns for his third appearance as a producer (also appearing in Seasons 4 and 6). Alongside him, Crush handles vocals and production under P Nation. Their producer cypher drew the highest views of all four teams this season.

**Gray & Loco** — Gray brings winning pedigree from Season 5 with AOMG, while Loco is a Season 1 winner turned producer — a combination the fans consider a true hip-hop dream team.

**J-Tong & Hukky Shibaseki** — J-Tong shot to fame after winning *Rap:Public*, while Hukky Shibaseki built his own label. Their cypher earned the highest online reviews among all four teams this season. [Screen Rant](https://screenrant.com/forgotten-island-movie-trailer-dreamworks/)

**Jay Park & Lil Moshpit** — Jay Park returns with major industry experience from AOMG and H1ghr Music. Lil Moshpit, a member of GroovyRoom, brings modern production sensibility. Lil Moshpit’s K-FLIP sampling technique was widely recognised, though their producer cypher ranked as the least critically received of the four.

## The Top Contestants to Watch

The top 9 semi-finalists as of March 26 are: Mason Home, NOWIMYOUNG, Zene the Zilla, Milli, Jung Joon Hyuk, Tray B, Kim Haon, OSUN, and Raf Sandou. [Animation World Network](http://www.awn.com/news/dreamworks-animation-drops-forgotten-island-first-look)

The season’s emotional highlight so far? Zene the Zilla finally making the main stage after eight previous attempts since Season 2 — delivering an explosive performance of “MR. ROCKLEE” that captivated the live audience. [Variety](https://variety.com/2026/film/news/forgotten-island-trailer-dreamworks-her-1236697699/)

**Milli** also made history this season — the Thai rapper became the first non-Korean contestant to be selected for a producer team in the entire history of Show Me The Money.

## The World of Yacha — A Game-Changing Innovation

One of Season 12’s boldest innovations is its dual-track format: the main show on Mnet, and a TVING-exclusive spin-off called *World of Yacha*, where eliminated contestants battle in underground rap contests for a second chance to re-enter the main competition. [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forgotten_Island) It worked brilliantly — and a Part 2 was launched due to fan demand.
