Shin Min Ah is stepping into her darkest role yet — and honestly, the premise alone is enough to give you chills.

Korean thriller film *The Eyes* follows a protagonist gradually losing her sight due to a genetic disease, who begins investigating the suspicious death of her twin sister — only to come face to face with a truth she never expected. It’s tense, personal, and deeply unsettling in the best possible way. ## Cast Breakdown

| Actor | Character | Role |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Shin Min Ah | Seo Jin / Seo In | Twin sisters — a photographer losing her sight & a ceramic artist who dies mysteriously |
| Kim Nam Hee | Detective Do Hyuk | Investigates the death while becoming Seo Jin’s eyes |
| Lee Seung Ryong | Hyun Min | A model with a dangerously obsessive fixation on Seo Jin |
| Kim Young Ah | Detective Mi Kyung | Protects Seo Jin from a stalker threat |

Shin Min Ah’s dual role is a particular standout — she portrays twin siblings with completely different arcs, all while capturing the physical and emotional weight of progressively losing her vision. It’s the kind of performance challenge that separates good actors from unforgettable ones.

Fans will also be excited to see Kim Young Ah reunite with Shin Min Ah after their drama *Karma*, this time as victim and detective in an unfolding murder case.

## Why the Poster Already Has People Talking

The first poster leans hardnto its concept — a bold red palette with an extreme close-up of a single eye. Something you see every day rendered in a way that feels utterly unfamiliar, creating an immediate sense of tension before you’ve even read the tagline: “extreme suspense that tightens the pupils.” [soompi](https://www.soompi.com/article/1842243wpp/shin-min-ahs-upcoming-thriller-film-the-eyes-confirms-cast-and-premiere-date-with-first-poster)

It’s the kind of poster that does its job perfectly.
