Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna, famed as Shaktimaan, has slammed Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming ‘Ramayana’. He criticises the film’s trailer, particularly Ranbir Kapoor’s portrayal of Lord Rama as an “action hero” rather than the serene figure he believes Rama to be.

Khanna also questioned the extensive use of VFX, fearing it might overshadow the spiritual aspect for Indian audiences. He prefers a more traditional, faith-focused depiction of the epic hero.
