The Grammy-award winner will likely perform before kick off in Miami, setting the stage up for an intense battle for the defending champions. Argentina have already earned their place in the finals of the tournament, and will face either Uruguay or Colombia in the finals.
In either case, the Albiceleste are the favourites to go ahead and win their third successive major tournament. This could be Lionel Messi’s final major tournament with the national team, as he has previously revealed that he might not play another World Cup.
Therefore, it would be the perfect way to end his international career if he can sign off by winning another piece of silverware as the captain.
