Al Hilal have reached an agreement with Sevilla for the transfer of Yassine Bono on a permanent deal. The goalkeeper will make the move in the coming days once he passes the medical tests and signs the documents.Â
The Moroccan will sign a three-year deal until 2026 with the Saudi Arabian club and will be making the move for a €21 million fee. He will join the likes of Neymar, Ruben Neves, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Kalidou Koulibaly and Aleksander Mitrovic to join Al Hilal this summer as part of a massive influx of European players.
Yassine Bono to join Al Hilal from SevillaÂ
In his final match with Sevilla, Bono was unable to win them the UEFA Super Cup in a penalty shootout. But, he made a name for himself in the 2022 World Cup by helping Morocco advance to the semifinals of the competition before they were eventually eliminated.Â
The goalkeeper is now set for a massive payday in Saudi Arabia like many others. Sevilla will be looking for a replacement in the coming days and are expected to get a deal over the line within the coming weeks to replace their number one goalkeeper.
Al Hilal’s recent loss in the Arab Club Championship Cup against rivals Al Nassr accelerated their pursuit of the Moroccan goalkeeper. And now, they have an impressive squad set to challenge the rest of the teams in the division.
